(HO Chuckwagon
From the owners/operators of (HO Chuckwagon, Cindy & Ray Gullion:
I learned to cook from my grandmother and mom on the ranch and dude ranch. We purchased our wagon in 2003 from our daughter-in-laws family. The wagon had completed the Wyoming Centennial Wagon Train. This wagon has been in several movies. We restored the wagon to its original 1880 condition with the advice of Engles Coach shop in Joliet Montana. Ray built the chuck box and boot box, he has done all the iron work on the wagon and built our fire box and fire irons.
We began our chuckwagon competeing in 2003 in Basin Wyoming on a dare. We competed at their festival for 4 years winning 3 out of the 4. We were invited to Cheyenne Frontier Days and competed there for 15+ years. We placed in one or more categories at every one, winning in 2011. We also competed in Stevensville, Montana, Big Horn, Wyoming and Estes Park, Colorado. We also teach about the old west and chuckwagons at local events as well as 4H camp.
