CodeRED - Keeping Citizens Informed
The City of Deadwood uses CodeRED to send EMERGENCY and GENERAL notifications by phone, email, text and mobile alert to keep citizens informed. Emergency notifications include weather events, utility outages, water main breaks, fire or flood, chemical spills, or other emergency situations. General notifications include snow clearing, garbage collection, planned road closures, water main repairs, utility service interruptions, etc.
All residents are encouraged to sign up to receive the notifications. There is no charge to sign up and your personal information is kept confidential.
A CodeRED phone call will have the caller ID # (866) 491-6435. A CodeRED text will have the ID # of (218) 350-0131. Please add these numbers to you cell phone contacts.
