Historic Adams House

Historic Adams House

The Historic Adams House is Queen Anne-style home built in 1892 for the Harris Franklin family and later purchased by William E. Adams, two prominent Deadwood families.

In 1992, the Deadwood Historic Preservation Commission purchased the home and restored it to a house museum. The house is operated by Deadwood History, Inc. and offers tours on a regular basis where over 80% of the furnishing in the museum are directly associated with the Adams family.
