Planning and Zoning Commission

This five person commission advises the City Commission on land use and planning policy matters. These include but are not limited to zoning amendments, annexations, requests for variances, conditional use permits, master plans, ordinance revisions, and tax incremental financing (TIF). Members are appointed by the City Commission for five year terms. This is an appropriate forum for discussion of policy issues related to land zoning and urban planning.

The Deadwood Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 4:00 p.m at Deadwood City Hall located at 102 Sherman Street.
