Full Time Lifeguard Position

The City of Deadwood is accepting applications for full-time lifeguards. Applicants must 18 years of age, possess a current certification in lifeguard training, CPR and First Aid or have the ability to be certified within 6 months. WSI certification recommended but not required.  Public relations skills, knowledge of exercise and weight training equipment, and effective communication skills are desirable.  This position will supervise the daily operations of the pool, gym, and weight room, and enforce all facility rules and policies to ensure the safety of all patrons.  Pre-employment drug testing and background check is required.  Starting wage is $19.00/hour.
