Library Education/Program Coordinator
EDUCATION/PROGRAM COORDINATOR
The Deadwood Public Library is accepting applications for a part-time Education/Programs Coordinator. The position is responsible for supporting, planning, organizing, and coordinating programs and activities for the public library. This includes developing and implementing programs with outreach to the community while working as part of a team to support library goals and future plans.
QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in program development and planning for all ages with an emphasis on children’s programming. Positive customer service and public relations skills are a must. Familiarity with library science and technology or a desire to learn and become part of the larger library professional community. Desire to forge partnerships throughout the community to enhance, expand and improve library programs. Pre-employment drug screening and background check required. Starting wage is $17.50 per hour.
