2022 Deadwood Officer of the Year

The Officer of the Year is team oriented, willing to learn, works together to solve problems, listens, and communicates effectively both interdepartmentally and with the community.

Furthermore, the Officer of the Year has participated in or assisted in the development and implementation of community policing like programs or activities that have helped maintain and improve the image of the department, improved the department’s ability to deliver its services, and has had a positive impact on the quality of life of the residents and business community.
